9 New Zealand Victoria Crosses stolen!

9 Victoria Crosses have been stolen in New Zealand, as well as two george crosses and an albert medal.

One of the VC's was the one only three VC and Bar awards ever issued.

This is all wrong, Bro!

These sort of things are stolen to order and that means the chances are not good to get them back.

Just goes to show the world we live in.

They'll be heading straight into some private collector's possession, but the odd thing is, how could anyone who claims to be into medals, and all that they represent, countenance having them in their collection when they have been stolen, could anything be more dishonourable?!! The punishment for taking these should be very stern indeed if it is ever discovered who took them.

Even so, their loss does not diminish the deeds which earned them, they are merely a symbol of the deed.

Scum. The authorities have got all the airports and seaports covered. Of course, if the buyer who set up the job is a New Zealander that'll render trying to catch them leaving the country moot.

As a fellow serving soldier I find this totally disgraceful.

I don't think they will have an easy time of it if there found. If it was a heist to order for some collector, I hope the collector cops it just as bad, if not worse than them scum who stole them!

Default Shotgun Protection

If they had been kept next to Joe Horn's home they probably would not have been stolen.
