Here is a little Tidbit on the suit you wear in Crysis. Considering nanotechnology becomes real in 2015 (And screws this world up completely with it's invention, but that's another story), this suit should theoretically be possible.

And, since you don't send in your best technology to simply rescue a simple scientist, here is the real reason you are on the island:

Wow, amazing. I can't wait to play it. I have the demo queued up right now to try it out. I never fail to be amazed at how games continue to come along and get better and better looking. I remember the days of being a kid and playing Burgertime and Tron on my Intellivision.

Is that in DX9?

I've been playing it in DX10...it's awesome! I've got most things on Very High with a few on High and physics on Medium. The frame rate is high enough that I never feel like its hanging, and for the most part, it feels fluid. The effects are incredible. Footprints in the sand, breaking trees, the pits in the characters faces...it's unbelievable.

Im looking forward to Crysis editor, i use to play around with Farcry's one and its excellent, can create whole worlds, add in some enemies, vechicles, triggers for story line next thing you know your got yourself your own game you made. And whats important its user friendly no rocket scientist needed.

I have tried the demo now, and it is impressive. Walking through the bushes and foilage is really cool!
Just a few things that I would like different, but most of all the sometimes stupid amounts of bullets the enemy soldiers can take. Seems like the power of the bullet drops rapidly with distance. But hey, assault rifle won't turn into a pea shooter at 3-400m. Fix that to something more realistic and the game can be very very good and fun, especially with the editor. Btw the editor is already in the demo, you just have to install it from the game directory!

Cheers porphy

It is like they are wearing body armor, but a head shot only needs one bullet still. I have an example of a headshot taking down a baddie from range in my first vid above. I then finish off the last two with a little melee action. It is also fun to grab the guys and see how far you can fling them using strength - try it!

By the way, I don't think it is a decrease in bullet power at range, it is that you are missing! :p Before you ask, yes, I was playing on Delta level above. That makes no crosshairs, and the Koreans talk in Korean - no English. Just the way I like it!

Hmmpf! I never miss that bad... I was a Rouge Spear crackshot. Ok, I might be a bit rusty nowadays, but I can clearly see these guys taking shot after shot at long range, without going down. I was on Delta as well, using anything else than the iron sights or reflex sight is a disgrace! Guess I will have to wait for proper sniping equipment in the full game to get at them from long range. :p

Edit: Subman, that head shot in the video was not long range in my book!

Cheers Porphy

Quit shooting at their body armor. Shoot their head!

Here is a better plan - don't shoot anyone. You can pretty much get through this game without having to fight at all.

Yes, I'm going to beat my way through with one of the wooden sticks!

Just screwing around on the heavily defended section of the island and you can pretty much stealth your way through all of it. I don't think you have to even fire a shot, playing on the hardest level.

Once you get used to your abilities, you pretty much become unstoppable.
