Just watched a very distressing segment on GMTV [UK] about elderly people on the brink of death neglected by the health system; the very people who should be caring for them.
One of them, Arthur Dickison passed away under these circumstances and His Family are naturally very angry. So who was this Arthur Dickison ? Well, he served on H.M.S. Safari under Bryant. His book, "Crash Dive" is a fascinating insight of a Telegraphist in a British submarine in the Second World War [1942-43]. What is the World coming to when somebody serves his Country, had a story to tell and told it, ends up dying in these circumstances. R.I.P. Arthur Dickison. |

Its sad news, but not totally unexpected. The NHS is too busy treating immigrants and ex-British citizens coming back for free health care. Its reprehensible.
