Missing Ship(s) & Corrupted Recog. Man.

Hi

I'm running SHIV patched to 1.3 with TM1.6.2 installed

I'm missing on of the jap warships and there are these black lines to the right of the center of the recog. manual that run off into the screen...

I'd show you a screen shot but I've got 3 monitors on my system and the screen shot button keeps taking shots of Monitor 2 for some strange reason...

Any ideas what's wrong?

I've uninstalled, clean installed 3 times now... no difference.

I had a problem with a couple of the ships. Armed trawler was one.

I JUST figured it out!

The _sil got key bounced and is __sil so it won't read them! I didn't notice cause my type is so small, then I used copy and paste, so they all got it, lol.

I will make a quick fix!

Alternately, you can EASILY fix this by hand because of the dumb error I made.

Uninstall TM with JSGME.

Open up the TM 1.6 folder in MODS. Inside Data is Sea. Inside Sea, open XPC.

There are 3 files that are screwy.

XPC__sil.dds
XPC__sil.tga
XPC__shp.dds

They all have 1 too many _ in them.

Make them:
XPC_sil.dds
XPC_sil.tga
XPC_shp.dds

by deleting 1 _ from each in the file name. That's the entire fix, lol.

Duc and I both looked at that a few times, but after a while the head starts swimming with all the tiny type, lol.

__sil,should we look for these miss-named files in Data/Sea folder. Also see PM.

Yeah, there is an extra _ in just the armed trawler that I saw (XPC in TM).

Note, that the fix is for TM, not stock, since the XPC doesn;t exist in stock.

If you want the stock _shp shape (instead of a dot), you can copy the one from NTRW_'s folder and use that (or any small boat, really). All you need to do is use a copy, and rename it XPC_shp.dds
