Default [REQ] Fog...what happened or where did it go?

Im using a few mods; mainly TM 1.6, LBO, Krillers Visual Upgrade, Sky Environment Option 4 and NSM

Im in game and notice with Overcast skies, Heavy Fog, 15 knt winds and I can see the horizon still, including starts and such. The overcast sky is only in the "center" of the sky, and "bright" considering thiers no moon out. On the Horizon, you can still see the stars. The clouds almost look like a hat on a head, the rest of the sky is exposed.

Is there a fix to this or is it typical w/ these mods?

I know its a dark screen shot, but I hope you get the idea

Default can be adjusted and increased

I will be working on that for the reflections MOD! I planed on working the fog settings to a more realistic level for storms. I just lightend it a bit in my scene file for the lightning work.

Just to clarify, the reason we're not seeing fog is because it has been reduced in the LBO correct. Not a complaint, because LBO is one of the best mods I've ever used, just wanted to be clear. And you're also working on getting the fog back.

Thanks for the great work!

Default Kriller and I both are looking into it

to get the fog looking good again in the game I made some adjustments he made some adjustments and we both need to put them back to more normal settings and will be ready when the reflection/environment mod is released. Sorry for the inconvience we might have caused.

Default Okay I just went over the fog figures

Only the Fog 1 no fog drop down has changes to accomidate the visability mod for 9 plus km changes.

in the scene.dat files and everything matches original scene.dat numbers after patch 1.3 in fog drop downs 2 - 4

In all the scene files I have set up for download on the LBO thread. So the problem is not with the scene.dat file's

So I have sent a message to Kriller2 asking him to check through his work and see if anything from his mod's might have caused it.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated.

Default Kriller found the problem

One of the main textures from his mod was missing the alpha layer with the fog on it. So this will be fixed just fine as soon as his new mod is released or he might even just present a quick fix texture in the mean time if you ask him for it.

So anyways problem found and solved guys. Again sorry for any inconviniance we might have caused.

Quite honestly, I think I speak for anyone who's used your mod, please don't apologize. The LBO really is phenomenal, and I think we're all just happy that there are people out there making this game great.

Thanks again for the work!
