I'm looking for a small sized joystick with twist-rudder and throttle for a laptop that I can actually lay on my lap without covering so much of the screen using it. Anyone know of anything like that?
Thanks |

There are one or two folding joysticks about, but |I don't think they unfold to much smaller than a normal one. I use a joypad similar to a playstation control with my laptop, as it is small and easily transportable in the laptop bag, and it only cost about ten quid too. Actually it's good for flying the helicopters in FSX because it actually has more assignable controls for things like rudder and stuff than the average joystick.

However, the sticks on the playstation pads, which probably are the reference design, have too little movement space as that you could be precise with them. Direction: yes, more or less. But amplitude? No. Would recommend to look for a joystick indeed.
