Default Mogami 3D model flawed...?

I am doing the training mission over and over again, and I just noticed they apparently forgot to include the starboard torpedo launchers, while combined fleet website has them on the illustrations... Or is "our" Mogami a post-Midway Mogami which may have been deprived of its stb torpedoes or something like that?

Oh just noticed that "our" Mogami, the way we see it, was the only one of its class. Always thought the big flight deck was the normal class outfit, not only a post-Midway arrangement.
So maybe the torpedoes were truly removed then, but that looks strange...

Unless you happen to personally know the particular developer that was responsible for the models in the game?

Pretty sure that UBI had nothing to do with the 3D models. (shrug)

Easy enough to fix, it's probably an eqp problem.

Well it is beyond adding a torpedo mount - it is a matter of 3D modelling. Unlike low-level ships like the DDs, which have torpedo mounts on the deck, a ship like the Mogami has holes in the side of its superstructure to operate them. Thus, if indeed Mogami is supposed to have Starboard torpedoes mounts too (something I couldn't clarify yet, but nothing in its log available at Combined Fleet website indicate any torpedo mount removal) the whole 3D model will have to be addressed...
Still I can live with that

At the battle of Midway the Mogami was seriously damaged and due to the heavy carrier losses the Japanese decided to put a flight deck on her during her repairs. They also put flight decks on the BBs,Ise and Hyuga. IMO not one of High Commands brighter decisions since they basically replaced fire power with float planes...but then I guess they were desperate.
