Default [REQ]Need help or a mod to fix the S-Class battery problem

I've searched the forum for hours but i've not found anything useful
I'm in desperate need of help or a modded file to fix the battery of the S-boat.
I love that small boat and i can't even use it in career mode.
Keep in mind that i use Trigger Maru,1.6 version
I've found an old version of minitweaker(for SH3...seems to work...)And all the tweak file for SH4.I've don't have made any test, because i'm afraid of damage something
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance

The S style sub according to sites that list the US sub stats are WAY OFF....
SH4 has the diesel Horse Power at 1200 when the S class has a diesel HP of 2000 but the Battery motors in SH4 STOCK has a HP rating of around 2300 which will eat up ur battery ( NOTICE HOW THE S CLASS TAKEs OFF UNDER WATER ). The S class sub real Battery Motor HP was ~ 1200. Real easy with the MOD TOOLS to correct these settings an maybe tweak it a little.....

Just got an upgrade sub from the S Class, untill I Tweaked the S Class sub it was a PAIN to Pilot..... Took 3 day just to re-charge the batteries....

I've been sail'n an Sugar Boat pretty much since day one, Patch 1.3 mucked up battery stats that I was acuustomed to. TM 1.6 made the adjustment to acceptable gameplay in my opinion.
Cruise at 2/3 for max fuel efficiency, I sail mainly on surface, only dive boat when airplanes or warships contacts, and of course setting up for attacks. Never run my batteries down to less than 75% as it requires too much fuel to recharge battery when you drain batteries to nothing. I can patrol Celebes Sea, Java Sea, sail to south China Sea complete 3 main objectives and ,Sailed to Hong Kong, and back to Freemantle and still had 1/4 tank of Fuel.

Dont scare, if you have the MiniTweaker and the tweaker template file...

At first, make a safe back up of you present file...

Just run TT's Minitweaker program, open the sub.sim template for the sub you are looking for...

Go to Electric Propulsion and edit :

"milesSubmerged" and "knotsSubmerged" at your pleasure.

Stock speed for max submerged range is 2 knots, then if you run over or under that value your max range will be dramatically reduced... remember... you max range will be at the speed you adjusted there.

Does this programme also work on surface vessels? I have a ship which I would like to modify i.e. max speed from 35 to 26 knots, engine power 27,000 down to 11,000.
And, where can I download it?

Good... but i checked and the program do not take the data correctly... almost here in v1.3.

I taked a S-18 souposed 110 miles according with that settings... it is about 203 km.... and it runs only about 90km submerged to battery off...

May be the data into the files is in km, and it loss some few km due to speeds variation...

Then the correct value may be 220... not 110..

Not sure what happens... :hmm:

Not sure, i think so may be...

For Minitweaker... look at the topic for downloads... but may be there is not template files for surface ships, you must to use a Hexagesimal Editor.
