Chase View Problem

I must start by apologizing for what is probably stupidity on my part, because I have a feeling that the answer to my question is very simple. I have searched and cannot find an answer to it on this forum.

I just upgraded to patch 1.3, along with the TM 1.3 mod. All is working well except for one thing... I cannot seem to enable "chase view" (the external view when you push the "." key to cycle through views of your sub and of all ships that are in the area). It doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong or how to enable this? Thanks!
