Go to my documents/SH3/data/cfg/careers/*your career name*/patrols_0.cfg/
Then scroll down until you see a line who says: DeltaRenown=*number*
Change this number to what you like (IE= 999999) and save the file.Load up that specific career, and VOILÀ !!!

Yep
You wont get renown for reaching or patroling your grid in the IO as there arent any ingame ones there
Best way to go is to edit the basic.cfg

Do while in port
Rollback SH3commander

Go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Cfg

Open the basic.cfg in Notepad

Find the lines

[RENOWN]
RenownReachGridObjCompleted=200
RenownPatrolGridObjCompleted=200
CompletedPatrol=100 <----Change to 500
NEUTRAL=-1
ALLIED=1
AXIS=-10
WrongShipSunk=-5000
FirstRankRenown=1000
SecondRankRenown=3500
EndCampaign=-5000

Save and you will get the same amount as if you had reached and patrolled the grid

Change back when in an atlantic base

Make sure you are in the main menu of the game when you do this. Minimize SHIII, and edit the cfg file, example: DeltaRenown=999999.433 (Dont mind the numbers after the 999999. They doesnt matter..) Then save the file!!! Open SHIII again, and load the career of the name you edited in the cfg, and check your last save (IE: In base before mission). It should have the amount of renown you added in the .cfg file! Remember: It is alway the LAST save that will be affected by doing it this way.
Hope i explained this in a understandable matter, mate... Please, dont hesitate asking if i was unclear or something..!!!
