I just finished my 5th patrol out of St. Nazaire. When I completed the game, it said Flotilla (NULL) When I started a new mission, I was told base was changed to Brest and the mission started with me at sea. What happened?

Where is Brest?

Any explanations on what happened?

I think you have stumbled into an old bug.
I've experienced this when making changes or adding a mod with an existing carrer in place or a flotilla correction. You might be able to get a transfer to fix this. But, sometimes the load will still say "base changed to" and you'll need to click the "OK" a few times before it loads.

was it flotilla = NULL or patrol grid = NULL?:hmm:

if it is patrol grid (NULL) then just relax:
1. have a nice 'free' patrol on your own (no patrol grid to reach or patroling for 24hours)
2. return to your former base after you shot your last eel
3. start a new patrol then you will see 'Brest' appearing on your map
4. make your patrol and afterwards return to Brest

That's it! Happened to me twice.

On the office, down on the left side, it said Flotilla (Null), then when I tried to start my next patrol, It said my base was changed to Breat and I clicked on the okay, but when the scene opened, I was out at sea, not in a base.

I did, I returned to St. Nazaire.

3. start a new patrol then you will see 'Brest' appearing on your map
4. make your patrol and afterwards return to Brest

Edit: I found my sub down in Grid DS87, and I wasn't about to start from there !!!

I went back and started from the point that I arrived at my base after my last patrol (St. Nazaire) and everything was okay. I was back in the 7th Flotilla and when I opened the map I was in St. Nazaire. So everything is okay now.

Every time I start the game (to finish this mission) I receive a radio message that "Base was changed to Brest"

Does anyone know why I keep getting told this every time to start the mission to continue it?
