Looking at the F6 TDC map screen, there's something strange imo.
If you use the following settings for forward launch, the indicated torpedo track on the map (bearing overlay) is straight 0: Bearing 0 Speed 0 AOB 0 But if you use the following settings for stern launch, the torpedo track is NOT 180 but about 5 degrees off: Bearing 180 Speed 0 AOB 0 ![]() (Problem appears in GWX, don't know about stock) |

Sry for the question, but you set the TDC to use the aft tube, right ?

I just tried this with (GWX 1.03)
Bearing 180 Speed 0 AOB 0 and 180 the line goes perfectly through 180° for me. Is it only the green line on the map that is off or does the gyro angle idicator actually show 5°? |

![]() When I change the bearing gauge so that the line on the overlay map goes through 180, the bearing gauge itself is at 175. Last edited by Canovaro; 06-12-07 at 11:09 AM. |

Okay, after several tests tonight, I was unable to replicate this problem more than once... and even then it was less than one degree offset to starboard. (0.66 degrees) I am unable to determine whether the problem is related to stock SH3 or to the bearing overlay itself. The problem is not unique to GWX.
I have seen occasional references to this issue over the last couple of years, and the first references to this issue ocurred prior to the implementation of Pato's bearing overlay by GWX. Considering that it appears to be an intermittant problem... I don't know what we can do to fix it. ![]() |
