Got me brother, the screenshot function never worked for me. I use a free program called FRAPS.

When you press Ctrl+F11, the screenshot appears in the main SH4 folder. I promise.
Are you hitting Ctrl+F11, or 'printscreen' or something else?

FYI, when you take in-mission photo recon shots they end up in your game save directory, which should be in "My documents/SHIV", in historical grainy B&W. Very cool
