Default Shout 1.6.4 ?

Is anyone using Shout 1.6.4 with Grey Wolves or NYGM TW 2.2?

Shoot, I believe the program is Shoot 1.6.4 - and I use it regularly. It is a very versatile program that translates voice commands into keystrokes. So you could say "All ahead one third" and the computer presses the 2 key. It is very useful for fire commands - while at the periscope you can say "Open tube 1, Open tube 2, Fire!!" and it will do all of that for you. At any rate, it is very programmable, so you can set both what you want to say, and what it will do, with a simple text file edit.

Highest Regards,
Yarre Notewire.

I've tried using Shout a couple of times, and I must agree that it DOES work well in most cases.
However, my computer is in my living room, witha lot of background noise, including a TV. The final straw came when Shout started to recognise the sound of my 8 yr old Dalmatian dog, Dylan, barking, as a "Crash Dive" order!!!!
Can be rather embarrasing if you are sitting in a subpen at Lorient at the time!!!

There should be a mike activation key, that allows you to use the thing in a noisy room. For me it is the * key.

Yes Yarre, that's correct, but I use a pretty decent headset mike (from my online FS days!), and no matter how I tweak it, it still picks up certain sharp noises, such as the dog!!
The wife won't let me move my computer to a quieter room. She probably thinks I'd spend all my time surfing "porn" sites . No chance! I'd be in my Zentrale whever I could!!
Cheers

My corp leader had this problem with Team Speak one day. He had Teamspeak going through his speakers and was at the same time testing out his Text to Command software. So he's all happy that he can say "Fire" and his ship will shoot. So than we started yelling over Teamspeak "FIRE!" and he'd shoot! Than we started yelling "STOP!" "DOCK!" "SELF DESTRUCT!" hehe he was not pleased and never used the program again.

Omg...this reminds me of a firend of mine, who told me that her boyfriend allways waits for her to fall aslepp, so he can surf the porn sites....)))

Anyway...this is a nice idea, I'll try it for myself. The Shout I mean )

OK, so I had a brain fart, it should be SHOOT not shout. I wrote the thread very early this morning. It's just that I feel a little uncomfortable with changing out the command file. There's like four different files, which do you use?

Default What version?

What version/installed mods do you use?

I've got a shoot config file and command_en.cfg files for the following versions:
GWX 1.03
GWX 1.03 with integrated orders
GWX 1.03 with My favorite dails mod (by poor sailor)
All prepared for JSGME.

I'll send/upload these, if you'r interested..
