Definitly not old, It was just announced last night. I can't wait, although I was kind of hoping they were going to make Diablo 3 next.

Hmm will be interesting to see if Blizzard "still got it" post WoW.

Posted this on another forum but:

Looking at the pics and.. meh... tbh it just doesn't look like an RTS i'd look at in a store and say, "ooh this looks cool." In all honesty it just looks like WoW on an RTS, the units have that WoW cartoonlike look, besides I never really gave a **** about Starcraft 1, played it a few hours and enjoyed it I guess, but Star craft 2 is just not a game I want.

It's more like the cartoon look of the original starcraft... and I'm glad they've stuck with it to retain the feel of the original.
The CG animation in that trailer is amazing!

I am also very happy with the graphics, I found the graphics in Starcraft to be very appealing, back then and today.

He, I´ve just got my son hooked on Starcraft, installed it on his old PC
It´s not only the Koreans that´s waiting for this

I always liked the cartoonish style of War- and StarCraft over, say, Command and Conquer. But I´m old

Did any of you played Warcraft 3? At which number do the 3D units start to cripple your machine?

I'm afraid going 3D will kill "Zerg Defense" maps, which were the most fun kind of map by far and wide, at least after you had mastered all strategies for the standard gameplay and winning or loosing became a matter of clicking fast enough.
