Default no radar?

hi how do you know what ships ,subs to go for with no radar in the sub?:hmm: do you use the map? also is there AL subs in sof? [pics please]

Well, if you lock on the target you will see its nationality displayed. That occurs even when you play at 100%, I can't turn this "feature" off... You will be informed from about 12 km what the flag of the ship is, so you have plenty of time to plan the approach.

I load up my U-9 with the Harpoon ASM mod . I also have a loadout of ASROCs.

Yeah you could easily do that since all data files are in .txt, but well, isn't the game easy enough allready?

i think they had them but they where too weak and there was only ten degrees radius. or was it it the 20s..............

The first primitive radars weren't even built until the mid-1930s.
