Too many Aircraft???

For those who feel this game models too many aircraft during a patrol, this historical account of the USS Gunnel's 7th War Patrol may be a fascinating read. If patience is short .... skip to November 4th and 5th for a snapshot of just how many aircraft pestered the U.S. subs over a given day or two. As for me, the frequency of aircraft now appear to make the game even more immersive rather than unrealistic. Furthermore, the patrolling aircraft appeared to be able to hone in on the radar of the US subs, or pick up the periscopes on their own radars.
