unpacking?

im starting a career in the porpoise.i use renown to upgrade guns and get sd radar.in ship systems it says "unpack" along with the items i obtained.so,how does one go about unpacking to use/install the items.is it done at a base,by your damage control team ?thanks.

It's upack which is for upgrade pack. Your stuff is already installed.
