Default [REQ] get AA gun AI to engage surface targets

I thought about that.
Apparently US Fleet boats used the 20mm and 40mm Flaks mostly to engage small surface targets. You can do that by yourself, of course, but it would be fun to have the AI engage Sampans and such with Bofors and Oerlikons as well.
Would it be possible to "convert" those to main guns? AFAIK US Subs seldom shot at japanese aircraft anyway. In "silent victory" there are only two occasions listed, on one, the sub was not able to dive, on the other, the skipper was reprimanded afterwards.
Or better yet, have the AI engage surface targets with Flak as well?
AI ships do fire small weapons at you, so maybe one could get the player sub AI to do the same.

I messed around with this some earlier by attempting to change them into being classified as deck guns but they couldn't be manned at all once I did.

The real answer is probably in an AI file somewhere and not a weapon file. Unfortunately that is something I have no idea how to go about messing with.

It couldn't be done in SH3 so I doubt it can be done in SH4. Ironically, surface units will shoot at you with everything they've got.

It would be nice to do the scene in Operation Pacific where John Wayne engages the Jap Q-Ship with 40mm, 20mm, .50 MGs plus Thompsons and rifles!
