Sound FX

Hi People,

Anyone able to advise or had a similar problem to this:

Game installs no problem and i see the intro fine with lovely sound but i dont get any in game sound FX other than the music.

I have SB Audigy 2 and have updated the drivers for it.
I have also updated the graphics drivers for my X850XT just in case by some strange reason that may be causing problems.
I have also installed the latest patch

Still no sound FX... anyone have any nice suggestions, next thing i am going to try is Active X etc and a re-install.

Some say a reintall of the game corrects some situations. It is worth a try.

As i am not seeing alot of posts regarding sound problems i am hoping i am an isolated problem and the re-install will sort it... Especially after reading some of the stories

Is your onboard sound disabled?

Yeah... dont think it will be anything silly like that but i am doing re-install as we speak so fingers crossed. Drivers were not updated prior to previous install so it might work... fingers crossed.

all fixed and working as expected after reinstall.
Installed latest, sound, graphics first.
Uninstalled game fully
Re-installed game fully
IT WORKED!
