Default Blohm & Voss BV 138

Just wondering whether anyone has tackled this beast... http://home.swipnet.se/our_stuff/Planes/BV138.htm

Awesome flying boat which focussed on recon and surveillance.

Other way around

The aircraft could be refuelled from uboats

Quote:
Most if not all Bv 138s were equipped with catapult points for operation from seaplane tenders and about 20 Bv 138C-1s were equipped with a modified fuel filter to remove possible pollutants when refueling from u-boats.

Of course if you have these it would be nice to have a seaplane tender too
:rotfl:

Luftwaffe seaplane tenders
Not kreigsmarine

Late last year, Denis469 mentioned that the Bv 138 was being worked on.

Haven't seen anything about it since

Do you have any further news for us Denis??.

Denis; Thank you for replying so quickly....even though the news was not good!

I was also very sorry to read ( if the translation program was correct ) that your Russian forum has lost its ' home ' with Avia Forums.

Have you had any success in finding a new site yet?

Cheers

I love the Dornier Do.24 too. Great plane.

Goes without saying that it has been added to my personal GWX installation (and scripted in its Aussie role of transport).
