I've visited 3 Best Buy loactions today looking for SH4, none of them have it. Yet, it is listed on Bestbuy.com..???

Anyone get it at best buy?

You know you can "Select preferred store availability" from the Best Buy website without actually having to VISIT the stores, right? Just enter your zip code. For example, this is what Silent Hunter 4 availability looks like for me.

I actually got the game at Best Buy last Thursday. They only had 2 copies, so I guess I was lucky. That was Best Buy in Brick N.J.

Got mine at BestBuy a couple of days ago as well. They had three copies left. Only issue I saw was they had it on the bottom shelf. No biggie for me as I went specifically looking for the game but someone browsing might've had a harder time.

My store had four copies last week. Today, none. So somebody must be buying them. I didn't bother to hit the inventory system to see what we had on order, but I will tomorrow.

Good thing I'm still waiting on that 8800GTS... otherwise, I'd here complaining about stock with y'all ;o)

I was the poster who had the hassle with their Web page being wrong.

I did buy it there, on Monday. Their flagship store in Eden Prairie, MN. Had two copies, spine out. Very hard to find; not on the gondola with the other sims.

As others have said, they have a pretty good real-time inventory system on-line. Of eight nearby stores to me on Monday, two were out-of-stock and six had at least one.

Fess up: I went to buy tax software and got weak. Have started three patrols and have had CTD in two of them after several hours of play and the DC mess from another thread on the third. Pretty frustrated with its current state.

As you all know I Bit into the email from Microsoft to upgrade to Vista on Feb, 09, 2007. I made a tread about it.

On the Microsoft website Best Buy had an ad for Vista Home Premium for $65.98, so I bought 1.

Today Feb, 21, 2007 I get an email from Best Buy saying that it isn't the price but its now $154. + but they will give me a 15% discount.

Note they already got my money 2 1/2 weeks ago (and spent it)

This morning, I spent 2 hours on the telephone and talked to 10 different people with no happy results. In fact they were rude to me, insisting they have the right to change the price. They also hinted that I made the mistake. How could I make this mistake when they processed the order and sent me confirmation.

This is bad business if you ask me.

I am seeking a lawyer, is their any here, I am sure that many people were taken by this scam at Microsoft.

I have an order number and screen shots of this ripoff. I also have my check they cashed.

I am mad as hell !!
