MS tool shows bad thing

Used MS rootkit finder - guess what? Securerom has a Rootkit.

I have been having trouble with lookung at a directory (not Ubi, not pirate stuff) since installing SH4. I have exited SH4 ONE time normally in 25 tries. Every other time it CTDs randomly and I actually have to remove power from the computer to get control again. Reset does nothing.

Firstly Im not supprised at the root kit. It is most likely begnine and a part of the protection scheme.

Secondly I dont think it has anything to do with your CTD's.

Most CTD's have been tracked down to one of things... dont use the A button ... its bugged, issues with sound cards, and cracked versions.

Securerom is a rootkit, just like Daemon Tools and other similar applications. Many of the CD emulation and protection systems must perform in the same way a rootkit would in order to do their designed function.
