Default (TEC) How do I change the picture on the desk?

I know that I have seen it on a thread somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it again. Someone mentioned that you could change the photograph on the desk in the Captain's office. One guy said he put a pic of his wife in it. I think that my wife would like this as well.... Is there a certain size and format that need to be used as well?

I assume you change the 'picture.tga' file in '\Silent Hunter 4\Data\CaptainPicture'.
Not tried it though

Is that picture used anywhere else in the game? (IE., if it's just "picture on the desk"...wouldn't a family picture or something be more appropriate?)

I have not seen it pop up anywhere else in the game so far. It seems that you can click it like the picture next to it that will take you to the crew managment screen, but it does not appear that it does anything at this point in time.

I agree with you about the family picture on the desk. I had a picture of my wife that was taken in a sephia style. I adds a personal touch and it made her happy. I guess there are endless possibilities as to what one can put in that frame.
