Default WARNING Stupid ????? Ahead..............

Ok just curious, I've been looking into getting SH-IV and would like to know just how many damn versions is Ubi making available in the US?

I see referenece to the "Deluxe Edition" "Collectors Edition" and just plain ole "Comes with a game and yer SOL for Docs edition"

So is this correct 3 editions? (I know deluxe is all gone, don't really care about all the "foof" it came with, I would like one with all the useful stuff however........................................... ...............

Deluxe and Collector's Editions are European only my friend. I priced the most expensive one. It was about $140-$150 to buy and ship to the United States. For what, a pen, a tablet, a soundtrack cd, and a nicely bound target booklet. The game is $50 here in the US. With the saved $100 I can get the 1/72nd scale USS GATO from Revell, and still have cash left over!

So far, of the saved $100, I have bought

Red Scorpion: The War Patrols of the USS Rasher, by Peter Sasgen
Silent Running: My years on a World War II Attack Submarine, by James F. Calvert
U.S. Subs in Action Warships No.2, by Squadron/Signal Publications
Gato Class Submarines in Action Warships No. 28, by Squadron/Signal Publications

And I still have $40 left over

Right now, I'm pondering this purchase:
U.S. Submarines Through 1945: An illustrated Design History, by Norman Friedman
Mostly a technical book, but he is an excellent author.

My advice, Don't purchase the other copies the expense just is not worth it!
