There are several crew configurations that you can set to quick keys in the damage control screen.
The quick icons are: Damage Control Mode Submerged Attack Mode Submerged Cruise Mode Surface Attack Mode Surface Cruise Mode Surface Anti-Air Cruise Mode How do I save a crew configuration I like for each icon? I remember it had soemthing to do with pressing a key then the icon to save the confiuguration but, I can't remember and can't find it in the manual. |

I could be wrong as I'm not as experienced with SH3 as many others, but I think it's just a preset behavior that can't be set by the user.

No, they are dynamic presets you can customize yourself. I remember reading about it once. You set up how you want it then hold shift or control and press the icon you want to save it to. I just can't remember what key it was you press at the same time as the icon. They aren't fixed presets because they are currently dysfunctional (they move 2-3 units into the wrong positions)

There have been quite a few problems with CTD's using those buttons.
