Default Boared waiting for SH4?

G'day submariners,

I stumbled across a pdf format file for a U-Boat type XXI. It appears to be all the necessary patterns and drawings to allow you to make a paper, card board, foam, etc. model of a Type XXI U-boat if you need to keep busy while waiting for SH4.

If there is any interest I'll post the RS link.

Cheers

With SH3 + NYGM and GWX, I have enough to keep me busy until long after SH4 is out...

No, I'm not bored. Neither am I expecting SH4 to come out on time, either. I don't spend my whole life revolving around the release of SH4...or any other game for that matter. I have two kids who occupy my spare time (baseball season is coming up and they're on different teams) and a book manuscript I'm getting ready for a publisher. I'm also running a 1x IXB patrol to Rockhall from Lorient in the backgroud. Oh, and there's a wife in there somewhere, too, who wants some lovin'.

Bored? Hardly.

If the stock version of SH3 was any indication of what we can expect with SH4, I think I'll wait an extra couple of months...

I'm bored, bored with study. If I wasn't bored with study, I wouldn't be bored because I'd be playing SH3. Still very much looking forward to SH4 though.

[qoute] The minimum requirements to run SH4 would be: 2GHz processor (Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon), 1GB of RAM, DirectX 9 video card with Pixel Shader v2.0, Vertex Shader v2.0 with 128MB of RAM, DirectX compatible sound card and around 5.5-6GB of space on your HDD. The game options will allow you to activate or deactivate different visual aspects that can increase or decrease performance. Of course, in the minimum requirements PC you will run with most options OFF. A recommended system will have: 3GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, DirectX 9 video card with PS 3.0, VS 3.0 and 256MB of RAM. Is this for real?? Right now i have AMD Sempron 2800+, 512 MB ram, ATI Radeon 9600 256 MB 128 bit...so this means i can kiss SH4 goodbye with this configuration?

Yep, same reason why I won't buy it, no plans for upgrading the PC these days. Anyway won't make me cry as I am not a PTO fan outside carrier ops... By the time I can upgrade, I will probably find it for 10 or 15 Euros with tons of free mods available. Might be worth a try at that time..

Well ...you are between minimum and recommended in cpu requirements but a bit short in Memory and graphic card

try first how runs and decide after if you need a upgrade.

I have an AMD XP 2400+ with 512 mb and a GF 6600 gt128mb , so i will first buy a 1 gb stick and see what happens

Best of luck then Hartmann

Your processor will just scrape in the 2Ghz lower end
Everything else sounds ok

But if I was to get it I wouldnt want to play with all options off
