Hello all,i've just had to reinstall everything and i've managed to mess up my slide out dials.
![]() everything works o.k. but i have some unwanted dials popping up. ![]() the original 3 dials pop up on the left hand side. i'm using nygm2.2,6 dials slide mod and a few others but can't find out which is causing it. anyone know where i can locate these 3 dials and either remove them or disable them, cheers. |

Sorry but it's messed up. You installed the Simfeeling mod ontop of another!
You have to remove the game and start anew! Mods that alter the menu file are a bitch! ![]()

Well I wouldn't put it as harshly. Normally removing the mod (in case you used JSGME) should suffice to get normal dials again.
But the problem if you try to use more than one mod altering the menu_1024.ini or dials.cfg file, and simply copy one over the other, it won't work. You have to manually alter those files in order to get the desired effect. And that's normally a lot more difficult than it looks. Especially if you don't know what to change. Even just removing the three dials from the files may get you into trouble. For anyone to help you, you should post all mods you have installed. Maybe there's a simple fix. |

Disable them in reverse order via JSGME. (i.e last first) Then just to be sure use the original Menu.ini from NYGM and copy it over the edited one.
Then enable them again, one at a time. IIRC there are some special intructions for the SimFeeling mod, check the readme & current thread.
