Default vessel sinking/destroyed from fire damage!

One thing missing from SH3 - if you attack a vessel and it burns, the fire never spreads though out the ship to destoy it, it would be nice if there was a random element simulating fire spreading though a ship, or being extinguished by the crew if its minor.
probably a too tall an order for SHIV. :hmm:

Hi JU88, that is one of my gripes about SHIII, the fires never spread, when a tanker is hit and starts to burn there cant be much time left for it once the fire gets going, and there is no active damage control.
I have the game Distant Guns and both these features are modelled in that game.

Well, except for the tanker that caught fire and the crew abandoned ship, and then the fires went out by themselves and the crew was able to reboard and sail the ship the rest of the way to Britain.

But that only happened once that I know of, and as the statisticians like to say, "Once is not a trend".
