Ahoy Shipmates,
I have managed to place my old GW 1.1 career into my SH3 career folder and run my old career into GWX no problems so far. I asked if this was possible prior to the release of GWX and was told it would not be possible to do, but being a little bit gutted about losing my old crew after 12 patrols and all thier medals and qualifications I was a little reluctant to give up on my old sardine VIIB can and all my shipmates. Thought this was worth mentioning ![]() |

I tried this too and so far so good - I just copied my old my docs\SH3 folders into the new one created by/for GWX and fired up SH3 Commander and picked my current career (which I had left off while in port) - everything loaded up just fine, I awarded my promotions/medals, transferred and replaced a few crewmen, upgraded my u-boat and sailed out on my next patrol. I've only just barely cleared port before I had to stop playing so i guess there coud be some trouble waiting for me down the road, but so far it seems to have worked out just fine.
Just be sure to keep backup copies, just in case ![]() [edit] Whoa - "Crusty"??
