Default Veteran Noob reporting - GWX made me

I've played the vanilla SH3 on and off since it was released, i think i've completed 8-9 full campaigns but up until yesterday had never modded or even patched the game.

Well, i just completed my 3rd mission on my first GWX campaign and like the rest of you i'm impressed! On my first mission i sunk the illustrious and on my 3rd the HMAS Hood along with all the regular merchant ships.

In 8-9 campaigns the only capital ship i ever sunk was the Nelson and now i have sunk 2 in 3 missions. I've probably spent more time running from DD's in those 3 missions than ever before as well ;-)

I actually racked up a 108,000 tonne mission which is probably double my previous best, i'm only playing at 74% realism but for a noob i'm impressed.

All i can say is that if GWX keeps giving me such new exciting missions, my bed is going to be very lonely for the next few months!
