Textures for port buildings?

I'm asking as I want to replace the German signs (such as "Halle") and propaganda posters with Norwegian counterparts, for captains operating out of Norwegian ports. Such as:

Or is someone feeling generous enough to do it for me? Probably a good idea to wait 'til GWX with its (possibly) new port textures is out, though.

One problem I'm picturing with this is that all ports share the same building types. That is, the dockside buildings at Bergen sure do look a lot like the ones in Lorient, which look a lot like the ones at Wilhelmshaven... and thus are likely to actually share these files among them :hmm:

Maybe they share files, but the game can only be played in one port at a time, meaning, one could create a mod for use, when the player is departing a Norvegian port, and just enable this mod with JSGME, and disable it, when playing in Lorient or wherever...

Just a suggestion!

But yes, sure why not a mod like this...?

The simplest thing would be to replace the 2 Italian ports with others then only Bergen uses Bergen

Yup, they do, it seems. But I reckon that seeing that the player does not spend too much time while in other ports looking at posters, it'll be all right.

In fact apparently even the British docks use the same textures as the German ones. An observant captain raiding a UK harbour noticed it was full of German propaganda posters.

You mean the cheat-cam ?:hmm:

(Joking, I'm one of those crazy nuts who don't use it, like any external cam in any sim game - except on the first days to have a look or when I take a few pics to post an AAR, usually outside normal career play)

So, any help getting the file name?

Is it something I need Pack3D to unwrap, or is it just my pessimism getting at me again?
