Curious if anyone knew exactly what was done when a new sub is put through her Sea trials. what kind on manauvers, operations, excercises, etc....

probably the secret part......
I know this: 1. They dive and surface 2. They through all speeds from 'back emergency' to 'flank' 3. Emergency Surface 4. They check the turning 5. They test systems everything else is probably classified.... ![]()

That sounds about right, ASWnut101. I'd be suprised if they didnt practise firing solutions on dummy vessels and tracking biologicals too. Can you imagine what the sea trials of the old Soviet Union would be like?
