Any idea what software i can use to create my own emblems and place them into the emblems folder so they work like the origionals?

You can use any program that can modify and save .tga files. I use photoshop and it's actually really easy. I'm sure that there are other programs, but that's what I use. I usually stay around 256 x 256 pixels (that's what most of the other emblems are) but haven't tried anything with much higher res.
I enjoy using my own emblems--kind of personalizes my boat for real ![]() Cheers, J |

I'm no great techy but I wanted to do this and it was really easy. I wanted to put the Silver Fern (New Zealand's All Blacks rugby team logo) on the side of my sub. I gound a 'square' jpg image via Google Image Search, saved it into Photoshop, re-saved as a *.tga file, and put it into the game using the instructions in the SH3 Community Manual. Worked like dream.
If you don't have PhotoShop, ther's a free app called IrfanView that will save tga files. |
