Problem with graphics freezup?

Good Morning,

I have a serious problem with running GW. I am fine till I try to use the periscope. Everything freezes, my mouse goes crazy and I can't control it. The game starts showing a frame every 5 seconds. My PC is a Dell 8300 - 3 gig - 512 RAM. My graphics card is a NVIDA FX 5200. Should I upgrade my card to 512 or put more RAM on my machine?

I am ins serious withdrawl and need a fix of SH III

I also have a dell, but not nearly as fast as yours.. (I do have 1 Gig of Ram though) I had a similar problem w/ GW mod and had to remove it until I can get a better video card (Currently running 256) .. A lot of folks recommended downloading the latest video drivers for the video card & trying that.. You can also unselect certain features like sea floor texture and lower the particle size..

Good Luck..

The problem here seems to be RAM and graphics card. Most say you need at least 1024MB RAM to run GW okay.

Hello

I think you need to sort out your graphics card. Mine has 128MB and I have 512MB RAM and I have absolutelly no problem with the game. Try to load the latest drivers perhaps??
