For those who have SCS Fleet Command, you might have a relatively easy fix to get the game to render correctly on the screen.
This may be a good forum post to sticky/pin at the top of the forum to help others out. The image of the pink 2D map duplicated is what many people experience. First, you go to Fleet Command.exe properties and under compatibility tab, you click on the Change High DPI settings. Then you have to go and choose the check box Override high scaling behavior. When you do that, you select application. Click okay and apply. I believe what this does is it tells Windows and the graphics management software to stop interfering with the application when it is full screen. I believe that scaling is the source of much of people's issues. This will not however resolve the problem of it messing up the graphics if you Alt+Tab. That is a known issue with no resolution at this time. |

I should point out that the colors and possibly resolution getting messed up with an alt-tab was a common bug with MANY full-screen games compatible with Windows 9X.
The Win95 "Collector's Edition" of X-com and MechCommander off the top of my head, but I have at least half a dozen more with the same bug. |

That didn't work for me but dgVoodoo did.
You will have to whitelist it your virus protection. Copy the 4 .dll files to the FC directory. My .dll files directory as an example. C:\Users\chris\Downloads\dgVoodoo2_85\MS\x86 Chris Last edited by Jimbuna; 04-02-25 at 10:57 AM. Reason: Too suspicious for a first post. |
