And so it begins in MD.

Amilcar de Leon says he immigrated to the U.S. from Guatemala seven years ago. As an undocumented immigrant living in Frederick, he says he feels as if he has no voice on the issues that impact his every day life.

Bud, you have been here 7 years. What is the hold up with becoming a citizen?

Forgot something.

When the voter is standing in front of the table, where there's people sitting and controlling the voter. The voter show their photo-Id and say the four last number in their security numbers and the person behind the desk then check in a book to see if their name is there and when it is found-The voter get their ballot on which all the parties and politicians name is on.

Secondly why not do as in India here you get a stamp on the top of your right hand-This mark will glow in infrared light and can not be removed.

Over here every state requires proof of citizenship in order to register to vote in Federal elections. But not every state requires the voter to present ID before they cast their vote.

Here in Florida where I live, it seems very similar to what you do in Denmark. Every little bit of security measure helps which is why I can’t understand some states don’t require a voter to confirm who they are before they cast their vote.

There is no SS# asked for nor required. Name and address. That is it.

As far as infrared light and stamp, it would be nice but all believe the voting procedures in place are fair and fraud free.

All they have to do is make her look popular enough to justify all the "votes" that are going to materialize.

I don’t understand that, because an undocumented immigrant has no legal right to be in this country.

On the other hand if Amilcar has had an A-card for five years he could apply to become a naturalized citizen. I wonder if anyone in Frederick, Md told him that yet

Better to portray him as a victim, I guess.

One would think as they watch the news and all of the talk about illegals he would get off the couch and apply for citizenship. Does he need his hand held?

I think the story about Amilcar is made up. Because if he really is an undocumented immigrant he’s likely being paid under the table in cash slave wages for slave labor and he sure as hell wouldn’t want to be found out by authorities.

If he has a A-Card then he should have started on becoming a naturalized citizen because the card is only valid for ten years. And there’s no guarantee it will be renewed.

Allowing either to vote is absolutely stupid. Especially considering how their vote could affect the ability of U.S. Citizens to have their voices heard.

On top of that they can still vote by absentee ballot in Mexican elections. Makes me wonder just where do their loyalties lie?
