I think what probably happened is that you didn't extract all the files in your SILENT directory, only the SHReal.EXE (which is what I did too at the beginnig)

BTW: did you get an intro sequence with some morse and the SS II cover? I am wondering because I downloaded my SHReal on Hawk's site
