Reinstall the game, update it to official v1.2.0 and make sure that the stock game works. Then install WoS and tell us is there any difference. This installer will automatically execute SH5.exe replacement and also uplay will be disabled by the Generic Patcher. After you're done with the mod installation , start the game by clicking SH5.exe directly...
