I cannot imagine either of those doing things with the submarines though. All I can think of is that maybe you didn't empty the Save folder? v1.1 is NOT backward compatible with v1.004a by any stretch of the imagination. If it's not that, then perhaps you are not completely surfaced when you are thinking you should be taking off quicker? I dunno. I just took the same boat out, and had the same assignment. I almost went straight there, but being the "safe" skipper that I are, I dodged the shallows enroute. As it was, I came into the patrol area almost directly west instead of to the northwest. That 1/3 day delay meant that I could only watch these guys from at the closest of about 14,500 yards, and that was after half an afternoon's chase... sigh. Otherwise, with them on a 198, and me on a 310, I might have been able to have my pickin's... oh well... Is this the group you have seen previously, with the Shinshu Maru, doing 14 knots?:
