. And I agree that it wouldn't matter who was down there, we would probably be invaded (after all, we're not being invaded by Canadians
).
My gripe is with the concept that a person can come up here (legally or not) and expect to impose their culture on the rest of the country. Someone please explain to me why our entire country should learn to speak Mexican? For crying out loud, the teachers in schools now are having to be bilingual in order to teach! If I were to move to Mexico (or France, or Germany, or Italy, or Russia) I wouldn't expect the entire society to magically start speaking English to accomodate me, why should we be expected to do the same?
