I may be jinxing things here, but I'm going on 4 days now without a lockup. The cure? Rolling back my mobo bios to a Jan 2008 version. There are 2 newer bios I had used and I can't really remember the crashing starting after installing those versions, otherwise I would have looked into rolling them back a long time ago. I swear I had used those for at least a month before I began noticing crashes.
I'm not out of the crashing woods yet as I've gone 4 days between crashes a few times since this started, but I'm optimistic
If I can go another 3 or 4 days I'll be able to say problem cured I think.
Kind of odd that my crash dumps would blame nvlddmkdm.sys.
Hopefully my next post won't be holding back curse words from another lockup when I thought it was cured :rotfl:
