SD Radar is air detection radar - detects airplanes. It is always on. It
doesn't have a radar screen.
SJ Radar is Surface Search Radar - detects ships. You have to turn on
everytime you surface. It has both the PPI and A-Scope. Generally
becomes available in the middle of 1942.
