In my reg.manual I got these:
Hiryu - the same 31m / 101.7ft
Shokaku - the same 29m / 95.1
Mutsuki - the same 23m / 75.5
Large Minelayer - the same 21m / 68.9ft
Tug Boat - different 22.8m / 74.8ft

With manual targeting system OFF got these distances:
