I know exactly what you mean about folks claiming to "eyeball" the differences in frame rates. I know a fella that claims that 60fps makes his "eyes bleed".
Anyway, I didn't mean to start a huge medical discussion by "misspeaking" myself. Likewise, I appreciate the informed rebuttal to my original statement.
