I'm almost positive that, if you install either one of these workarounds, you'll end up with the orders bar (the extra buttons and icons) from the mod (TM or RFB), but no other changes. The only problem I could see off the top of my head is if there were changes made to the tooltip text in the original mod (TM or RFB). If there are changes in the menu.txt file and you mouseover a button that references a line in the menu.txt file that is not in your menu.txt file, I don't know what the outcome would be (possible CTD, minimum no tooltip text). I would only do this at your own risk. The other side of this is that I (like the idiot that I am sometimes
) forgot to ask permission to use the files that I used from TM and RFB. Since I designed these to be workarounds for the mods and that they wouldn't be used by anyone who wasn't already using the mod, I didn't think it would be a problem.
If you'll look in my sig, there's a link to a mod combo I did called the Mess Hall Sink Mod combo. It may be more than you're looking to change (like the camera changes) but those can be removed from the mod before you activate it. There's also a workaround for it to handle the HUD mods.
