Liberty ships here, Liberties there. Bloody Liberties everywhere. Saw my first Liberty ship a few days ago. Sent it to the bottom with one torpedo in the normal grand Balz way.
The next bastard Liberty got a torp, same place, sure Balz kill spot. Assisted by aircraft , the beggar made it into Gibraltar.
It took two torpedoes to sink the next Liberty. What in the bloody hell is the matter, have I sunk all the good oldie large Brit. freighters? Not only these stinking 7K tonners are lousy for tonnage earned but refuse to sink.
In Tanker Alley, what do I find? Instead of tankers, two blinking Liberties. It took 5 torpedoes and 12 hours to sink the sumbithies!
The Americans wouldn't give me a visa so I could take my choir to sing on Broadway. Now they send this Liberty crap across the ocean. What does it mean. What does it mean, I ask?
