LOL I usually do but I attempted my first enemy port attack at Plymouth (having gone around the long way) and got right up close to the docks - within about 1km. I was never pinged at all. Then I got cocky and thought that as I had made the port incursion successfully the Channel should be no problem going home
I didn't even get into the Channel proper, really.....

I'm using GWX. And yeah, I have been destroyed in the Channel 3 times in 3 attempts. You'd think I would learn....
