Im currently working on a "fish" mod. Im having a bit of trouble with them... they apear in game, but they are "gosts". something to do with a shader file i guess...
Still, the way im doing it is by a "texture" aproach, rather than an actual 3d model.
It can be done tought, like the dolphins in sh3, but every "fish" should have a dedicated layer to follow, and this will mean that the only way that you have a chance to see them, is to practicaly "fulfill" all the seas with spawn layers for them... and even doing so, besides de performance impact, you will be lucky if you see one...
