I may be wrong but I'm thinking it keeps time based on the port you sail from. So if you sail from Pearl it's set for one TZ, sail from Brisbane it's another, Fremantle still another and so on.
As far as knowing when sunup/sundown is, I use the map view if I'm in TC at the time. The instant it changes from day to night mode the sun is just setting, when it changes from night to day mode, sun is just rising. Works good for me  |
You might be right on that one. I will have to check next time my port changes.
